NOTE: Due to the variety of installation configurations, general instructions are provided. Jetlun does not take responsibility and is not liable for improper installation or servicing. If the installer does not understand how to install or service the device, he or she should contact Jetlun for instructions before touching the Appliance Module Plus.
Turn the appliance off at the disconnect panel. Confirm that the circuit is properly marked and that power to the appliance is off. If necessary, correctly label the customer’s breaker/fuse that controls the appliance.
Mount the Appliance Module plus accordingly.
Using wire nuts (sold separately), connect power to the black wire(Line) and the brown wire(Neutral) in the unit. This must comply with the voltage information indicated on the back label of the unit.
Using wire nuts (sold separately), connect the red and yellow control wires (labeled Low and High) of the Appliance Module Plus to the control wires of the Appliance you are trying to control. If there are is only one control circuits on the Appliance you are trying to control, connect the control red wire labeled High only.
Using wire nuts (sold separately), connect the power leads labeled Power In(blue wire) from the Appliance Module Plus to the Appliance you are trying to control.
Secure a flexible conduit from the Appliance Module Plus to the Appliance you are trying to control and properly conceal all wire nuts and cables.
Quick Wiring Reference Table:
NOTE: While it is not necessary to ground the ZB Appliance Module Plus due to it’s nonmetallic enclosure, local electrical codes must be checked to determine grounding requirements for any fittings, junction boxes, or conduits that are to be attached to the ZB Appliance Module Plus.
