1. Toggle dip switch #1 to the ON position.
  2. As an example, to program turning the AC to its OFF setting, first using the remote control of the AC unit and turn ON AC unit with AC remote control.
  3. Next, holding the AC remote control up to the IR panel of the Infrared Sensor, press the same ON/OFF button on the AC remote control a few times until the Infrared LED blinks orange every 3 seconds which means the code has been successfully programmed. (Note: While performing step 3, ensure the AC remote control is away from the AC unit.)
  4. To test the programming, turn the AC unit on with the AC remote control. Then, hold the Infrared Sensor up to face the AC unit to turn the AC unit off.
  5. Upon success, you can turn dip switch #1 to the OFF position and proceed to program the second command.
  6. To proceed to program the second command, turn dip switch #2 to the ON position.
  7. As an example, to program turning the AC to its ON setting at 17℃ (62 F), first use the remote control of the AC unit and turn ON the AC unit to 17℃ (62ºF) with the AC remote control. Then turn the A/C unit off with the remote control. (Note: Ensure you can use the remote control to turn the A/C on at 17℃ (62ºF).
  8. Ensure you have turned off the A/C unit with the remote control, then hold the AC remote control up to the IR panel of the Infrared Sensor and press the same ON button on the AC remote control a few times until the Infrared LED blinks orange every 3 seconds which means the code has been successfully programmed. (Note: While performing step 3, ensure the AC remote control is away from the AC unit.)
  9. To test the programming, turn the AC unit off with the AC remote control. Then, hold the Infrared Sensor up to face the AC unit to turn the AC unit on at 17℃ (62ºF).
  10. Upon success, you can turn dip switch #2 to the OFF position and proceed to program the second command.
  11. To proceed to program the 3rd command, turn dip switch #3 to the ON position and repeat steps 7-10.
  12. To proceed to program the 4th command, turn dip switch #4 to the ON position and repeat steps 7-10.
