IMPORTANT: These installation instructions are for use by a licensed electrician only. To avoid electrical shock, do not perform any servicing other than what is contained in this User Guide unless you are a licensed electrician and qualified to do so.

  1. Read these instructions.
  2. Heed all warnings.
  3. Follow all instructions.
  4. Do not use this apparatus near water.
  5. Clean only with dry soft cloth. Household cleaners or solvents can damage the finish on your Jetlun products.
  6. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus that produce heat.
  7. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  8. Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
  9. Do not expose apparatus to dripping or splashing and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.
  10. Jetlun recommends that a licensed electrician install the Panel Meter.
  11. Jetlun recommends that the Panel Meter (model RD77720) be installed either in an electrical enclosure (panel or junction box) or in a limited access electrical room. Panel Meter (model RD77724) can be installed outside of an electrical enclosure but requires proper conduit directly to the device.
  12. Verify that circuit voltages and currents are within the proper range for the Panel Meter.
  13. Jetlun recommends using only current transformers (CTs) from Jetlun, which has been calibrated to work with the Panel Meter. Using off-the-shelf UL CTs from third parties will affect the accuracy of the measurements.
  14. Before turning on power to the Panel Meter, ensure that all the wires are securely installed by tugging on each wire.
  15. Equipment must be disconnected from the HAZARDOUS LIVE voltage before access.
  16. Do not place more than one line voltage wire in a screw terminal.
  17. Do not install the Panel Meter where it may be exposed to temperatures below ‑30°C or above 55°C, excessive moisture, dust, salt spray, or other contamination.
  18. Do not drill mounting holes using the Panel Meter as a guide; the drill chuck can damage the Panel Meter housing or screw terminals.
  19. If the Panel Meter is installed incorrectly, the safety protections may be impaired.
